Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This weeks topic is: 10 Of My Most Recent 5 Star Reads

I posted it yesterday but for some reason I’m unable to find the post. So reposting it.

I’ve read 9 books so far this year. And this might just be my most favorite read. This book was phenomenal. The Mortal Instruments is a very special series to me. I really love all of Cassie’s books. Most of you already might know about my obsession with Simon Lewis. ❤ Lol! This book literally destroyed me. I lost sleep over this book. This is also the longest book I’ve ever read but when I finished reading it, I wished it was even longer. I wanted more. This is the best TMI book according to me. Fast paced,intriguing,romantic,dark,action-packed,heart-wrenching and addictive. You won’t be able to put this one down even with the intimidating size of the book. Alright, now I feel like rereading it.

So it’s the third and final day of 3 Days 3 Quotes book tag. I had a lot of fun doing this tag and it also kept me active on here. So it’s a good thing. I am looking forward to doing more tags in the future since I had so much fun doing this one. I was tagged by Escape into pages. Thank you again.

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post a quote for three consecutive days.
  3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.

So for today I’ve decided to post a quote from World After. Now I really loved Angelfall and World After but I never read the third book. It’s weird because I really loved the first two books. I don’t remember why I stopped but I want to reread the first two books so that I can finally read the third one. Raffe is one of my favorite male protagonists. ❤ I love him.  So here is the quote.

I tag the following three bloggers to do this tag. I hope you have a great time doing the tag.

So for today I am going to be posting one of my favorite quotes from one of my recent reads. I am pretty sure most of you already know about the book, November 9 by Colleen Hoover. This is my most favorite contemporary read. Continue reading “3 DAYS 3 QUOTES BOOK TAG DAY 2”

Shit people say

Okay. I do not have a book to review today. I am currently reading nothing. 😛 I was supposed to be reading Tales from the Shadowhunters Academy but I got a little distracted by another book. I know! Shocking! I was looking forward to reading more about my bae,Simon. But I guess I’ll hold off till I finally order Lady Midnight. Oh! The pain! Okay so now off to today’s topic of discussion.

I am a still a newbie when it comes to books. I haven’t really read that many books as compared to the people I know and interact with over various social media. I really started reading after I switched schools after tenth as I wrote in one of the previous posts.
Now as readers we know how awesome it feels to read a book and dive into a different world and stay there for a while and live a different life. There’s no better escape from reality. Some of us are heavily dependent on books. Whenever you feel low or you feel like you are giving up or you simply just need to distract yourself from your surroundings, the best way out according to me is a BOOK. Now non-readers do not seem to understand this. And honestly, the shit I get to hear from people every day is beyond infuriating and demeaning even at times. The best way is to avoid and simply brush ’em off. Honestly, these are funny people, who don’t have any other work to do other than criticize others for no good reason at all. But sometimes it does hurt. Come on, after all reading is our passion and that’s what we love to do. So obviously once in a while, no matter how strong you are, it is going to hurt, especially when it comes from your family or friends. So today I am going to list a few things that people have said to me over the past few years.

Shadowhunters Episode 10 Review

I’ve decided to write reviews for the remaining episodes of Shadowhunters. First and foremost I wanna say that I love watching the show. Every single episode is better than the last one. My favorite episodes are 5,7,8,9 and 10. I think episode 5 was the turning point for this show. I won’t lie. I was a bit disappointed after the first few episodes but things are different now. I’ve supported this show from the very start. I see how the actors have started understanding their characters and they’re truly doing an amazing job. I know the show is very different from the books. I have been a fan of the books and just like everyone else I wanted them to be like the books and I had cringed a lot during the first 4 episodes but I wasn’t giving up hope right away and I am so happy that I did not give up. This has become one of my favorite shows and Wednesday(I am from India so I don’t get to watch it on Tuesdays) has basically become my favorite day of the week because of Shadowhunters.
