Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell

26365537Oh no! It was so short. I loved it and I’ve never watched any of the Star Wars movies. Do not kill me. I am downloading the Star Wars movies right now. OMG! I want more. Elena,Gabe and Troy were such fantastic characters. I mean I was literally taken by surprise when it was over. It was so cute.

Favorite quote:

“I’m a nerd, right? Like obviously.Classic nerd.I hate sports.I know every Weird Al song by heart.I don’t know how to talk to most people.I’m probably going to get a job in computer science.Like,I know those are all stereotypes, but they’re also true of me.That’s who I am.And the thing about nerd culture being mainstream culture now means there’s no place to just be a nerd among other nerds-without being reminded that you’re the nerd.”~Gabe

You need to read this book. It’s super short and a very fun read.

Five stars ❤

I’ll go watch Star Wars now. 😛

Shadowhunters Episode 10 Review

I’ve decided to write reviews for the remaining episodes of Shadowhunters. First and foremost I wanna say that I love watching the show. Every single episode is better than the last one. My favorite episodes are 5,7,8,9 and 10. I think episode 5 was the turning point for this show. I won’t lie. I was a bit disappointed after the first few episodes but things are different now. I’ve supported this show from the very start. I see how the actors have started understanding their characters and they’re truly doing an amazing job. I know the show is very different from the books. I have been a fan of the books and just like everyone else I wanted them to be like the books and I had cringed a lot during the first 4 episodes but I wasn’t giving up hope right away and I am so happy that I did not give up. This has become one of my favorite shows and Wednesday(I am from India so I don’t get to watch it on Tuesdays) has basically become my favorite day of the week because of Shadowhunters. City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare

If you know me, you might know how crazy I am about The Mortal Instruments series. You’d know how crazy I am about one particular character. 😛
I’d read City of Lost Souls a few months ago and I thought I’d directly jump into City of Heavenly fire. But for some reason and another I just could not bring myself to read this book. I kept telling myself I’d do it eventually since I love the books so much. I’d love anything written by Cassandra Clare. Honestly! I just did not want to believe that this is the last TMI book. 😦 So I kept ignoring the book for the longest time and then Lady Midnight, the first book of The Dark Artifices released on 8 March and everyone was posting about it and flooding my Instagram feed with pictures of the book and few of the people I’ve actively interacted with kept telling me that it was high time I read the final book of TMI.
